Topic                   A compilation of the life of homeless filipino people living on the street.

Description     Homeless people living along the sidewalks and under the shed of                                              overpass at Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue

Audience          Social media users that are not aware or interested on knowing the life of                                some homeless people on EDSA

Character/s     Homeless people: Aling Elma, Junjun, Jenny, JR, Ethel

Setting               EDSA road: From Shaw Boulevard to Ortigas Avenue

Mood                  blithe, relaxed, neutral, and clarified.

Plot                     The struggles and hardships hidden on the smiling eyes of the filipino                                        homeless people, it sends a beautiful message that every filipino is a                                          gentle and loving race, even adversaries may come, but their smile isn’t                                    enough. We need to help them even little things like a greeting will do far                                more than we know. 

Conflict            The struggles met by filipino homeless people on the street everyday                                          retaliated by a smile.

Objective        These homeless people needs food, water and specially love. Most of the                                  people are ignoring the fact these homeless people are also human. The                                    purpose of this photostory is to open people’s eyes and give another                                          perspective on looking to the filipino homeless people along EDSA.

Aling Elma a 71 year old lady, she worked at a paint factory before but recently became homeless when MMDA demolished her house at Addition Hills, Mandaluyong.

Junjun walks the street of EDSA to beg for money, I ask for his name and mumbled “junjun”. Realized that he is mute, gave him some food then smiles to the camera.

JR 28 years old, eldest brother of Jenny and undisclosed brother in New Bilibid prison. Guides and provides food to Jenny by selling cigarettes on the sidewalk beneath MRT Ortigas Station.

Jenny 19 years old with his youngest son Raymart, has three children, eldest got kidnapped, second is with her mother’s husband. The reason why she is homeless because her husband was killed in a knifefight. Originally lived on Fabella Road 50mm 1/60  F2.8  ISO1600

Ethel hides her teary eyed face, she cried because of joy, while princess is looking to the other piece of mamon that Raymart got.
